Because sleeping rough is tough
Reagan Campbell-Gillard is a professional Rugby League player for the Penrith Panthers in the NRL. At just 24 years of age Reagan has worked hard to establish himself as a regular first grade player and in turn has become a cult figure around the club, community and with fans via his positive attitude, dedication and his trademark Mo. Reagans commitment to the community is reflective in his current roles with the the Panthers and the local community. We caught up with Reagan to provide an insight into the young man who will take on the responsibility and challenge of becoming Street Swags first Ambassador.
Rugby League has provided me with so many opportunities both on and off the field. One of these opportunities is the ability to make a positive change in peoples lives. I came across Street Swags early in 2017 and was keen to find out more about the charity and how I could be involved. It was a huge honour to take on the ambassador role with Street Swags. I am looking forward to helping raise awareness on the ever increasing rise in homelessness in Australia.
